9.3.1 Activating a Chime Zone
You can also enter the 2-digit number(s) of the zone(s) in step 4.
9.3.2 Setting a Chime Zone Time Period
How do I program my keypad to beep every time a zone
opens?
1. Enter your [ACCESS CODE].
2. Press the [9] key to enter the Chiming Menu. Your keypad will
emit a confirmation beep. The chime icon will illuminate and
the Chime Options will scroll.
3. Press the [1] key. Your keypad will emit a confirmation beep and
any already Chimed Zones will illuminate.
4. Use the [
S] and [T] keys to scroll through the zones you wish
to designate as chimed and press the [] key to Chime or
Unchime a zone. The chime icon will stop flashing to indicate
that the zone has been chimed and the zone number will
illuminate (zones 1-16) as shown in Figure 1 on page 8.
5. Press [] or [] to exit.
How do I program all the keypad’s Chimed Zones to beep only
when they open between specific hours?
1. Enter your [
ACCESS CODE].
2. Press the [9] key to enter the Chiming Menu. Your keypad will
emit a confirmation beep. The chime icon will illuminate and
Chime Options will scroll.
3. Press the [2] key. The first digit of the previous time entered will
flash.
