I Taking Your Treatment
Step I9 Once the treatment is complete, take your
nebuliser handset apart for cleaning by revers-
ing the steps used to assemble your nebuliser
handset. The aerosol head can be removed by
squeezing the two flexible tabs (a) on the sides of
the aerosol head.
Note: For the eFlow
®
rapid nebuliser handset about
1 ml of medication cannot be nebulised and
remains unused in the medication reservoir. This is
intentional and does not represent a malfunction.
For safe disposal of leftover medication, follow the
information in the package leaflet accompanying
the medication.
Note: For drug-specific nebuliser handsets, e.g.
Tolero
®
for Vantobra
®
, no significant residual
volume remains in the medication reservoir. If you
see more than a drop in the medication reservoir,
reassemble the nebuliser handset and continue
treatment.
