F Disinfecting Your Nebuliser Handset
Method 1 (preferred): Thermal Disinfection (boiling)
Note: Clean your nebuliser handset before disinfecting your nebuliser handset. The nebuliser handset cannot be
disinfected effectively unless it has been cleaned beforehand.
Disinfect the nebuliser handset parts by boiling in distilled water.
Step F1 Fill a clean pot with enough distilled water to fully
cover all parts.
Step F2 Bring the water to a boil.
Step F3 Add the disassembled parts, including the aerosol
head and boil for a full 5 minutes.

Step F4 Remove the parts after the water has cooled and
shake the parts to remove excess water.
CAUTION
Plastic may melt if it comes into contact with the
hot bottom of the pot unless there is enough water
in the pot.
