Device materials
This product consists mainly of the following materials:
- Controller housing: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
copolymer, thermoplastic elastomers, polyethylene
- Nebuliser handset including aerosol head:
Polypropylene, thermoplastic elastomers,
polyoxymethylene, silicone rubber, stainless steel
- Mouthpiece: Polypropylene, silicone rubber
Not made with natural rubber (latex).
Lifetime
With appropriate care, the eFlow
®
rapid Aerosol Head
can be used between 3 and 6 months and the nebuliser
handset body for up to 1 year.
However for best performance it may be required to
replace the nebuliser handset including aerosol head
more often. Follow the instructions of the nebuliser hand-
set.The controller, connection cord and power supply
should last 3 years with appropriate care (which is
roughly 150 disinfection cycles).
Disposal
The nebuliser system parts and batteries must be
disposed in accordance with local (state, county or
municipal) regulations.
