4.2 POWER CONNECTIONS
4.2.1 Motor cable
A choice shall be made between a cable for flexible or static installation.
The cable must be shielded and sized properly in terms of insulation and sections. It should be
made of reticular polypropylene since it has a lower distributed capacity. Once the length has
been selected (max 60m.), the conductor-conductor capacity must not exceed 8 nF.
The minimum conductor section must be of 1.5 mm

4.3 SIGNAL CABLES
4.3.1 Resolver cable
The cable must consist of three individually shielded twisted pairs protected by a shield.
The conductor-conductor capacity for the length used cannot exceed 10 nF and the section
cannot be less than 0.22 mm
2
for length up to 35m. For higher lengths and up to 60m. the
section cannot be less than 0.35mm

The wiring diagram shows a resolver cable for motors Type “MB”. For motors Type
SMB,
refer to the terminal board shown in Motor Manual.
4.3.2 Signal cables connection
The cable used for the analogue reference must be a shielded twisted pair.
The cable used to connect the signals of the simulated encoder must consist of three twisted
pairs with a general shield.
Shielded cables are also recommended for digital inputs and outputs.
All cables must have a minimum section of 0.22 mm
