3. Server Manager
3.1. Introduction
This chapter introduces MFP Server's system configuration utility
in Windows environment. This utility provides the most complete
management and configuration functions on the MFP Server. This utility
only provides configuration functions for MFP Server itself; it does not
include configuration functions for client side or other file server in the
network environment.
The Configuration Utility provides the following configuration and
management functions:
ŜSearch MFP Server: Search for all the available MFP Servers on the
network.
ŜStatus: Display MFP Server's network status.
ŜGeneral Configuration: Configure general settings about the MFP
Server such as Server Name, Password, and etc.
ŜTCP/IP Configuration: IP address and DHCP server configuration.
ŜSystem Configuration: MFP Server network ability settings and
firmware upgrade.
ŜMFP Server Management: For administrator to manage the MFP
Server. Administrator can force disconnect the current connection of the
MFP Server.
ŜReport: List the information of All Available MFP Servers on the
network.
