Setup Arm
Warning! Cut and Crush Hazard!
Keep clear of set-up arm when entering.
Consult the machine operations manual for proper procedures
before clearing a jam or making adjustments.
Failure to comply could result in serious injury.
Follow the preceding section's safety directions to release the
setup arm after an emergency stop or machine jam. Failure to
follow the instructions can result in injury.
1.
For cases previously run, refer to
the View Setup Values PanelView
screen in the PanelView for scale
settings.
2. Loosen the two quick-release
handle
3. Slide the arm up or down to the
correct measurement on the scale
or to the bottom of the upper
flight chain.
Note: The scale setting should be the
same as the case width dimension.
4. Tighten the quick-release handles.
Note: When the vacuum is released there
should be approximately 1/8 "
clearance between the flap and the
vacuum cup. This will reduce cup
damage.
