Taking Pictures Continuously
Pictures can be taken continuously while the shutter release button is fully
pressed.
1
Press the four-way controller (5) in standby mode.
The Drive Mode setting screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (45) to select g.

Press the four-way controller (3),
use the four-way controller (45) to
select g or h, and press the 4
button.
The camera is ready to take pictures
continuously.

Press the shutter release button halfway.
The autofocus system operates.

Continuous
Shooting (Hi)
Up to approximately 6 frames per second can be taken
continuously (for JPEG images).
h
Continuous
Shooting (Lo)
Up to approximately 3 frames per second can be taken
continuously (for JPEG images).
Continuous Shooting is not available in the following situations.
when Z (Night Scene HDR) of H mode, or p mode is set
when Interval Shooting or HDR Capture is set
When g or h is set, you cannot save RAW images during Instant Review or
playback.
