6.2.4 Example of error messages and remedies
If the problem continues after you have done the remedies described in
the table below, please contact your service provider or Permobil. For

Possible cause
Remedy
One flash The connection to the batteries is poor or the
batteries needs to be charged.
Make sure that the connections to the batteries
are correct.
Charge the batteries.
Two flashes The connection to the left drive unit is poor. Make sure that the connection to the left drive
unit is correct.
Three flashes The left drive unit has a short-circuit to the
battery connection.
Investigate if an electrical fault has occurred.
If necessary, you may need to replace the left
drive unit.
Four flashes The connection to the right drive unit is poor. Make sure that the connection to the right drive
unit is correct.
Five flashes The right drive unit has a short-circuit to the
battery connection.
Investigate if an electrical fault has occurred.
If necessary, you may need to replace the right
drive unit.
Seven flashes Joystick error
1. Make sure that the joystick is in the neutral
position.
2. Press the on/off button to turn off the control
panel.
3. Remove the tray top to make sure that the
LEDs on the control panel are off.
4. Press the on/off button to turn on the control
panel again.
Eight flashes Error in the control system. Make sure that all connections are secured.
Nine flashes Poor connection to the parking brake. The parking brake function should not be
available. Make sure that the device is correctly
programmed.
Ten flashes Excessive voltage to the control system, which is
probably caused by poor connection to the
batteries.
Make sure that the connections to the batteries
are correct.
6.2.5 Repairing defective units
Apart from specific OEM-approved spare parts, there are no replaceable
parts in the nVR2 control system. Contact Permobil for further
information on OEM-approved spare parts.
