4.12.2 Installing the drive units
The following tools are necessary for this task:
• Torque wrench.
• Allen socket, 3 mm.
• Allen socket, 4 mm.
Figure 124. Put each drive unit in the chassis.
1. Put each drive unit in the holes of the chassis. The axle of each drive
unit should protrude through the hole and the three threaded holes
of each drive unit should be aligned with the three holes of the
chassis. Attach the three screws to each drive unit. Tightening
torque: 4.2 lb. ft.
WARNING!
Use recommended tightening torque
Use the recommended tightening torque to reduce the risk of damage to the
wheelchair and to prevent causing injury to the user.

2. Slide the wheel hub to the end stop on the axle of each drive unit.
Figure 126. Tighten the screw on the wheel hub.
3. Thighen the screw on the wheel hub for each drive unit.
Tightening torque: 4.2 lb. ft.
