Running the Self Test
Troubleshooting

Running the Self Test
Running the Self Test performs the resident self test, which includes a complete
memory test and a front end test on all available modules, such as SpO
2
or NBP. If the
test cannot detect a specific module or if an error occurs, then that test fails.
Note — When the monitor is powered up from Standby mode, the monitor performs the
front end tests in addition to the start-up sequence. When the monitor is
powered up from Deep Sleep mode, the monitor performs the complete
memory test and front end tests.
