The inputs are supplied with 24 V DC from the main supply (U

The outputs have protection when the ground connection is interrupted and must be wired
accordingly.
For the connection of sensors or actuators in 3-wire technology, Phoenix Contact
recommends using connectors for digital 4-channel or 16-channel Inline terminals
(not supplied as standard, see "Accessories" on page 5-8).
