9.3 The Duress code
As implied by its name, the duress code is a to be used in stress situations, such in the
case of being under threat.
Entering the code disarms the system

and sends a silent alarm to both the Central
Monitoring Station (where relevant) and the phone numbers.
The duress code is a 4 to 6 digits number. Tip: precede your own user code with the
number 1 (or any else) to remember the code easier.
