Appropriate steps shall be taken by the operator between procedures of the laser
device and components to ensure the distal parts coming into direct or indirect
contact with the patient such as the applicator treating head/hand piece receive a
thorough cleaning process.
Thorough manual cleaning shall be completed immediately after procedures by the
operator for all reusable components to assure all surfaces are completely free of
any organic or inorganic material to prevent patient to patient transmission of
potential bioburden.
WARNING
Following procedure, switch off the device and disconnect the power cable
from the power supply.
9.4 Cleaning of the Main Unit
Use a soft cloth or lens paper to clean the main unit and the LCD touch screen.

WARNING
Do not clean and disinfect the unit using a washer and Do not submerge
the unit in any liquid. Serious damage to the electrical medical laser will
occur.
WARNING
Ensure the protective cap for the optical system is attached to the main
unit prior to cleaning procedures.
WARNING
Solvents and flammable solutions used for cleaning and disinfection
should be volatilized before using the equipment. There is a risk the
internal gas may be ignited.
Do not use chemical reagents to rub the touch screen. Please wipe
carefully with lens paper to avoid scratching or damaging the touch
screen.
