Observe the instructions for use provided by the manufacturers of the cleaning
products and disinfectants.
9.5 The maintenance for long-term storage
Please pack the device in accordance with the factory packaging for long-term
storage
1) Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the power adapter;
2) Unplug the foot switch
3) Unplug the remote interlock and place it in the accessory bag.
4) Remove the hand piece or fiber and use the dust cap to protect both the hand
piece, fiber and the device laser port;
5) Place the main device, accessory bag, hand piece, foot switch, power adapter,
protective goggles, etc. in the packing box.
6) After being packed, place the device in a well-ventilated, dry, cool environment.
9.6 Power calibration
The suggested frequency for calibration is every 12-months. Contact a PIOON
Service Center to schedule the calibration. Calibration records shall be completed
and maintained by the calibration engineer.
When the outputting power is found to be more than ± 10% of the setting
power, please contact PIOON or a designated dealer for power calibration.
Calibrations shall be carried out under the direction of authorized personnel
of PIOON or a designated dealer to avoid possible injury or damage to the
device from harmful laser radiation.
Note
For power calibration, please use a power meter with the following
specifications: spectral response range includes 650~980nm, power
measurement resolution is less than 0.1W, the effective diameter of the
detector is greater than 1mm and the maximum measurement power is
more than 10W.
