Either
control
wheel
assembly
may
be
installed
by
the
following
procedure:
1.
Insert
the
control
wheel
tube
through
the
instrument
panel.
2.
Should
wires
for
the
various
Autopilot
systems
need
to
be
installed
in
the
control
tube,
route
them
through
the
hole
in
the
forward
side
of
the
tube
and
out
of
the
small
hole
in
the
side.
Position
the
rubber
grommet
in
the
hole
in
the
side
of
the
tube.
3.
On
the
left
control
tube,
install
the
stop
(12).
4.
Connect
the
control
wheel
tube
(4)
to
the
flexible
joint
(2)
of
the
tee
bar
assembly.
If
the
control
cables
and/or
chains
have
not
been
removed
or
loosened,
place
the
ailerons
in
neutral
and
install
the
control
tube
on
the
flexible
joint
to
allow
the
control
wheel
to
be
neutral.
Install
bolt.
washer
and
nut
(3).
Then
tighten.

a.
For
the
removal
of
any
of
the
control
cables
in
the
fuselage
or
wings,
first
remove
the
floor
panel
that
is
located
directly
aft
of
the
main
spar
by.
removing
the
center
seats,
seat
belt
attachments
and
the
screws
securing
the
panel.
Lift
the
panel
and
remove
from
airplane.
b.
To
remove
either
the
right
or
left
primary
control
cables
(14
and
15)
that
are
located
in
the
fuselage,
the
following
procedure
may
be
used:
1.
Remove
the
fuel
selector
panel
cover
by
removing
the
rudder
trim
knob
and
the
cover
attachment
screws.
2.
Remove
the
lower
selector
cover
and
disconnect
the
fuel
selector
control
lever
from
the
selector
torque
tube
by
removing
the
attachment
pin
located
at
the
bottom
of
the
lever.
3.
Remove
the
tunnel
plate
just
aft
of
the
tee
bar
by
laying
back
enough
tunnel
carpet
to
remove
the
plate
attachment
screws.
4.
Remove
the
forward
heat
duct
from
one
side
of
the
floor
tunnel
(preferably
from
the
side
from
which
the
cable
is
to
be
removed)
by
removing
the
trim
control
wheel
cover,
the
heater
baffles
from
the
side
of
the
duct,
the
floor
carpet
and
the
duct
attachment
screws.
