5.4.12 802.1x Configuration
Please enable the 802.1x protocol from Misc Config of Switch Settings. This function allows setup the IEEE
802.1x parameters. This function provides 3 items are System Configuration. Per Port Configuration. Misc
Configuration. The screen in Figure 5-48 appears. Table 5-12 describes the 802.1x objects of switch.

Description
Radius Server IP
Set the Radius Server IP address.
Server Port:
Set the UDP destination port for authentication requests to the specified Radius Server.
Accounting Port
Set the UDP destination port for accounting requests to the specified Radius Server.
Shared Key
Set an encryption key for use during authentication sessions with the specified radius
server. This key must match the encryption key used on the Radius Server.
NAS, Identifier
Set the identifier for the radius client.
