What to do if Platinum Z5 CD System Test fails?
If the System Test fails, record the fault in the Fault Log, then clear the fault log. Run the test again to confirm the problem.
Why does my Platinum Z5 CD Transmitter enter the 3 Strike Routine?
The Platinum Transmitter may enter the 3 Strike Routine because the predicted temperature of R9 on the “B” Z-Plane Isolation board is greater than 130[o]C, or the predicted temperature of R9 on the “A” Z-Plane Isolation board is greater than 130[o]C, or the predicted temperature of the 5kW hybrid reject load is greater than 130[o]C. As a result, the transmitter is muted (DAC_APC_REF is brought to zero) for 3 seconds (6 seconds for transmitters with a Single Phase power supply).
