Dialing Type: Choice between tone (pushbutton) and pulse (rotary) dialing.
Modem Type: Choices are as follows:
None: No Modem or Serial C expansion card installed
Internal: Supports 900433-x Internal Data Modem
Fax Modem: Supports 900503-1 Internal Fax Modem
Port Modem: Intended for external modem connected to the RS-232 port. Contact
Pneumercator for specific devices supported.
Serial C: Supports the 900571-x Communications Expansion Cards
Cell Modem: Intended for a cellular modem. Contact Pneumercator for specific devices
supported.
Port Speed: determines the maximum speed the modem is permitted to communicate at.
Pause length: defines the duration of the pause represented by a comma in the dial out string. See
Section 2.15 for entering phone number and comma in configuration.
Telephone Line Mode:
Dedicated: allows the TMS try placing a call without detecting a dial tone. After 5 unsuccessful
attempts, the TMS will no longer attempt to place a call for this particular event.
Shared: the TMS must detect a dial tone before attempting to place a call. After 5 unsuccessful
attempts, the TMS will no longer attempt to place a call for this particular event. Failure to
detect a dial tone does NOT qualify as a failed attempt.
Security Enable: Requires a 6-digit numeric Access Code that is prepended to any command issued
to the TMS.
