Apply Loctite® 534 Hi-Tack gasket dressing
to engine side of gasket to secure prior to
assembly. Sealant bead should face the
cover.

All coupler spline teeth must be coated with
Polaris Premium Starter Grease (PN
2871460) before assembly.

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) Fastener 89 in-lbs (10 N·m)

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS)

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) O-Ring
Lubricate o-ring with White Lithium Grease
(8570044) or engine oil.

Stator Cover with Water Pump
Apply corrosion resisting dielectric grease to
stator cover grommet.
Apply Moly Lube Grease to internal spline; all
spine teeth must be coated with grease prior
to assembly.

Stator Cover Fasteners
89 in-lbs (10 N·m)
Torque in sequence shown.
