Engine Assembly -- All Engines
4. Insert bearing retainer clip on MAG side of crankshaft.
Open end of clip is positioned upward.
5. Apply a thin, even layer of sealer to entire surface of
lower crankcase half.
CAUTION:
Do not allow sealer to dry. Crankcase must be as-
sembled immediately to ensure proper fit of main
bearing outer race in crankcase.
6. Place upper crankcase half on lower half aligning the
retainer clip and seals.
