MAIN MENU - OPTION 1 -FFI DIAGNOSTICS
The photo to the right is the FFI Diagnostics main
menu screen. From this screen, you can:
S Enter the Diagnostic Session
S Enter Static Test
S Perform Cylinder Drop Tests
S Verify Timing
S View EMM Information
S Review RPM Profiles
Service Code Review Screen
The illustration at right shows the Service Code Re-
view screen. It appears after pressing 1 at the Main
Menu, and provides an overview of all the Service
Codes stored in the EMM. Three types of Service
Codes are displayed. Within each category, the codes
are displayed in the order they should be diagnosed.
S Hard Codes:
are displayed first. A Hard Code means the
problem that created the code exists now
.
S I ntermittent Codes:
are displayed second. An Intermittent Code
means the problem that created the code is
not occurring at this time.
S Repaired Codes:
are displayed last. A Repaired Code means
that a problem that was causing a Hard
Code at the beginning of the session is no
longer occurring.
From this screen you have two options: press any key
for information on the first Service Code, or press the
“ESCAPE” key to return to the Main Menu.
