4 Measuring
INFORMATION
A measurement range of 70 mm is available.
Measure
Data acquisition and storage is controlled via the TMS software. Once the
warm-up period has finished, you can make measurements as described in
your TMS software manual.
4.2 High-Precision Measurements
Assembly
To rule out any external distortions during the measurement, set up the
sensor head and the object on a vibration-damped table.
INFORMATION
Do not place moving parts on the vibration-damped table as the measurement
results could be affected or falsified.
Reference
measurement
A reference measurement which is balancing the curve in the field of view
made by Polytec is included in the TMS software on delivery. After every
measurement, this reference measurement is automatically subtracted from
your measurement.
