A.1 Overview
The optional calibration set is used to check the basic metrological properties
of the system.
The calibration set consists of:

Depth setting standard (calibration standard)
•
Calibration certificate
The depth setting standard is shown in following figure.

The depth setting standard has grooves with different nominal depths which
are set out in the calibration certificate. To the right and left of these grooves
are two more grooves which are not calibrated.
