2.4.3 Shipment Requirements
Always use the original packing materials to ship system components. You can purchase a
new container from Precision Filters if needed. The environmental conditions described in
Table 5 must be maintained during shipment.
2.5 Mainframe Installation
Before installing a 28000 mainframe, ensure your installation site meets the environmental,
power, and installation requirements stated in Section 2.2, Site Preparation.
WARNING
Two people are required to lift some system mainframes. See Table 6 for
the approximate weights of fully populated mainframes.

As shipped, a 28000 system is ready for installing on a bench. To install the system in an
equipment rack, rack-mount slides are required. This section describes procedures for install-
ing rack-mount slides.
The 28016 mainframe includes a cable tie-bar kit for securing and organizing cables. The next
section describes procedures for installing the kit.
