3.2 Replacement Procedures
This section describes the following procedures for replacing system components:
• Replacing fuses and changing the line voltage selection
• Replacing the backplane interface (BIF) card
• Replacing conditioning cards
• Replacing power supplies
WARNING
Unplug the 28000 system from the wall outlet and remove the power
cord before installing 28000 circuit cards or subsystem components or
performing any maintenance or replacement procedures.
3.2.1 Replacing Fuses and Line Voltage Selection
WARNING
For continued protection against re, replace the line fuse(s) only with the
fuse(s) specied for the power supply model number and the line voltage
selection being serviced.
Table 20 lists the appropriate power supplies for each mainframe.
