This procedure provides instruction to remove and install the Chain Drive and Flywheel.
Chain replacement requires removal of the flywheel so this procedure provides instructions for
both chain and flywheel replacement.
WARNING:Personal injury is possible while removing/installing the flywheel. The
flywheel weighs approximately 43 lbs (19.5 kgs) and can pinch or fall onto fingers or
other extremities causing personal injury.

Torque is a measure of the force that can cause an object to rotate about an axis. Bolt/nut
example: 5 NM torque is equivalent to 5 newton's of force applied one meter from the center of
the bolt, 6 ft-lb is equivalent to 6 lbs of force applied 1 foot away from the center of the bolt.
