9.4 Pulse / Tone Dial Option
The Vocaliser can be configured for either pulse or tone type dialling.
¾ Dial A for the Pulse/Tone Dial Option
¾ A “BEEP” will be heard
¾ Enter either of the following:
o Dial  to select pulse dial
o “SAVED” will be heard.
or
o Dial  to select tone dial
o “SAVED” will be heard
¾ “PLEASE ENTER COMMAND” will then be heard
returning you to the engineer menu.
9.5 Blind Dial Out Option
This feature programs the Vocaliser to either wait for a dial tone before it attempts a dial out
sequence, or wait for 3 seconds of activation regardless of a dial tone. To program this:
¾ Dial  for the blind dial out option
¾ A “BEEP” will be heard
¾ Enter either of the following:
o Dial  to program the Vocaliser to wait for a
normal dial tone. “SAVED” will be heard.
or
o Dial  to program the Vocaliser to wait for
three seconds. “SAVED” will be heard.
¾ “PLEASE ENTER COMMAND” will then be heard
returning you to the engineer menu.
