WiththeHomescreendisplayed:
1.SelectSet-Up.
2.SelectSystemSettings.
3.Toenabletheinternalreceiver,selectInternal
GPSsothatOnishighlighted.
4.Todisabletheinternalreceiver,selectInternal
GPSsothatOffishighlighted.
Enablinganddisablingdifferentialsatellites
Youcanchoosewetherornotyourreceiveruses
differentialdataprovidedbySBASconstellations.
FromtheGPSSet-upmenu:Homescreen>Set-up
>SystemSettings>GPSSet-up:
1.SelectDifferentialGPS.
SelectingDifferentialGPSwillswitchdifferential
satellite(SBAS)receptionOn(default)andOff.
Choosingdifferentialsatellites
YoucanselectwhichconstellationsofSBASyour
receiverwilluse.
FromtheGPSSet-upmenu:Homescreen>Set-up
>SystemSettings>GPSSet-up:
1.SelectDifferentialSystem
Thefollowingdifferentialsystemsareavailable:
WAAS
EGNOS
MSAS
GAGAN
AllOthers
2.Selecttherelevantdifferentialsystemfrom
themenutoswitchreceptionforthatsystem
On(default)andOff.
COG/SOGFilter
TheCOG/SOGlteraveragesthevelocityvectorsto
compensatefortheoscillatingmotionofthevessel,
givingaclearerindicationofthevessel’scourseand
speed.
Thelterdoesnotaffectthecalculationofyour
receiver’sreportedposition.Thevelocityvectors
calculatedfromthesignalprovideaninstantaneous
measureofspeedanddirectionofthereceiver.The
COGandSOGcanthereforseemerraticunder
certainconditions.Forexample,whenavesselis
movingslowlythroughroughseas,thereceiver
movesfromsidetosideaswellasinthedirection
oftravel.
Slowmovingvessels,orvesselssailinginrough
seaswillbenetfromahighsetting,whereasa
powerboatthatcanquicklychangespeedand
directionwillbenetfromalowsetting.
SelectingCOG/SOGlter
Youcanchangetheleveloflterappliedto
COG/SOG.
FromtheGPSSet-upmenu:Homescreen>Set-up
>SystemSettings>GPSSet-up:
1.SelectCOG/SOGFilter.
Alistofavailablelterlevelsisdisplayed:
Low
Medium(default)
High
2.Selecttherequirelterlevelfromthelist.
RestartingtheGNSS(GPS/GLONASS)
receiver
TorestarttheGNSS(GPS/GLONASS)receiver
followthestepsbelow:
FromtheGPSSet-upmenu:Homescreen>Set-up
>SystemSettings>GPSSet-up:
1.SelectRestartGPS.
Thereceiverwillberestarted.
