atapointthatcreatesabalancedcurrentdrawfromeachsideofthebackbone.TheNMEA2000
LoadEquivalencyNumber(LEN)isusedtodeterminethepowerconnectionpointforthebackbone.
Inthee xampleabovethebackbonehasanoverallLENof10,sotheoptimumconnectionpointwould
betohave5LENeithersideoftheconnectionpoint.
Smallsystems
Ifthebackbonelengthis60m(197ft)orless,thepowerconnectionpointmaybeconnectedat
