Thesechecksshouldbecarriedoutafterinstallation,andpriortothecommissioningoftheautopilot
system.
1.Switchonpowertotheautopilotsystemandassociatedequipment.
•Driveinterfaceunit
•Autopilotcontroller
•DeviceNetbackbone(ifthishasitsownpowersupply)
2.Checkthattheautopilotcontrollerpowersup.Ifthedisplayisblankpressandholdthe Power
buttonfor2seconds.
3.ChecktheEV-2andPilotControllerdisplayhavethelatestsoftware.Visit
www.raymarine.com/softwaretoobtainthelatestsoftware,andthenuseyourmultifunction
displaytoupdatethesoftwareontheseautopilotsystemcomponents.Thewebpagealso
containsinstructionsonhowtoupdateyoursoftware.
4.Checkthedisplayforerrormessagesthatcouldindicateaproblemwiththeinstallation.
