Transduceroperationshouldbecheckedbeforeinstallation.Forthe
purposesofthistestyoudonotneedtoassemblytheconnectorlocking
collar.

1.ConnectthetransducertotherelevantconnectoronyourMFDorsonar
modulethatisconnectedtoyourMFD.
2.Fullysubmergethetransducerinwater.
3.PowerupyourMFDand/orSonarmodule.
4.OpenaFishfinder/SonarapponyourMFD.
5.Ifrequired,selecttherelevanttransducerfromtheTransducersettings
tab([Menu>Transducer>Transducer]).
6.Ifrequired,selecttherelevantchannelfromtheChannelselectionoptions
([Menu>Allchannels]).
7.Checkthataccuratedepthandwhereapplicabletemperaturereadings
aredisplayed.

7.4Transducercableroutingguidance
Guidanceforroutingyourtransducer'scableisprovidedbelow.
Important:
Thetransducercable’sconnectorissuppliedwithaseparatelockingcollar
assembly.DoNOTfitthelockingcollarassemblyuntilafterthecablehas
beenroutedtothedisplay.
•TheroutethetransducercablewilltaketoyourMFDorsonarmodule
shouldbeplannedbeforeinstallingthetransducer.
•Thetransducerissuppliedwithan8m(26.2ft)fittedcable.Ifthecable
lengthistooshortthenextensioncablesareavailabletolengthenthe
cablerun.
Note:Itisrecommendedthatamaximumoftwocableextensionsare
used,withthetotalcablelengthnotexceeding18m(59ft).
•ThecableshouldberoutedasfarawayaspracticalfromVHFradio
antennasandcabling.
•Thereshouldbesufficientslackisleftatthetransducerendtoallowforthe
transducertobetiltedupanddown.
•Anyexcesscableshouldbecoiledupataconvenientlocation.
