1Routinechecks
Thefollowingperiodicchecksshouldbemade:
•Examinecablesforsignsofdamage,suchaschafing,cutsornicks.
•Checkthatthecableconnectorsarefirmlyattachedandthattheirlocking
mechanismsareproperlyengaged.
Note:
Cablecheck
sshouldbecarriedoutwiththepowersupplyswitchedoff.

Thisproductcontainshighvoltage.Adjustmentsrequire
specializedserviceproceduresandtoolsonlyavailableto
qualifiedservicetechnicians.Therearenouserserviceable
partsoradjustments.Theoperatorshouldneverremovethe
coverorattempttoservicetheproduct.
11.2T ransducercleaning
Y oumustcleanyourtransducerregularlytoremoveorganicgrowth.Organic
growthcanbuildupquicklyonthebottomfaceofyourtransducer;thiscan
impacttransducerperformanceinamatterofweeks.
Important:
•Whencleaninggrowthfromananti-fouledtransducer ,takecarenot
toletpaintdustandotherdebrisenterthewater,asthiscanhavean
impactonaquaticlife.
•Takecarenottoscratchthesurfaceofthetransducerasthiscanimpact
transducerperformance.
•DoNOTuseharshcleaningsolventssuchasacetoneasthiswilldamage
thetransducer.
Followtheguidancebelowtocleangrowthfromyourtransducer:
•Useasoftclothandamildhouseholdcleaningdetergenttocleanmild
growthbuildup .
•Useascouringpad,suchasagreenScotchBrite™padandamild
householdcleaningdetergenttocleanmoderategrowthbuildup.
•Y oumayneedtouseafinegradewetanddrypaperandamildhousehold
cleaningdetergenttocleanseverebuildup.
11.3Re-applyinganti-foulingpaint
Ifyouhaveappliedanti-foulingpainttoyourtransducer,itisimportantto
re-applyitatleastevery6months,tomaintaineffectiveness.
Followtheinstructionsbelowtore-applyanti-foulingpaint.
Important:
•Followingenvironmentalbestpractice,preparationandre-application
oftheanti-foulingpaintshouldbeperformedusingsuitablewashdown
facilities,whichensurespaintparticlesdonotenterthewaterandimpact
aquaticlife.
•Takecarenottoscratchthetransducerface,asthismayimpact
transducerperformance.
1.Removeyourvesselfromthewater.
2.Cleanyourtransducer,ensuringallorganicgrowthisremoved.
3.Removeanyflakinganti-foulpaint.
4.Useasoftdryclothtoremoveanyloosebitsofpaint.
5.Re-applyawater-basedanti-foulingpaint.
