Device properties

This setting allows a basic choice between whether or

not to use the 90° coaxial lighting. The 90° coaxial

lighting is a paid hardware option. The 90° coaxial

lighting cannot be retrofitted but must be ordered

together with a new device. Detailed settings for the

lighting must be configured using device configuration

in TransWin32.

USB update

If an update has been downloaded (see section 16), the download also includes the

firmware for the MLV-2D. The directory "Device_Update" is contained within the

compressed, downloaded archive (ZIP file). This contains the update files (e.g.

update.rvu). Depending on the software version, variations may occur in file names

and numbers.

For the USB update, all files must be copied from this directory onto a USB pen drive.

Subdirectories must not be used. The USB pen drive does not need to be empty. Once

the function has been selected, "Application Update" and "Language Update" appear

for selection. Here, "Application Update" must always be selected. In special cases,

program text (only) can be corrected/amended by using "Language Update".
