7.9 Saving image files
Images that have been loaded, created by measurement or image capture can be
saved (for the purposes of analysis or documentation).
This is performed using the icon

Images in PNG, BMP and JPG format can be used for documentation purposes. Images
saved in the XML file format contain the adjustment and calibration data and can
generate a full evaluation for verification purposes when re-opened. This is useful for
comparing different software releases or for support purposes.
7.10 Static reflectance measurement
Static reflectance measurement can be performed in a measurement image (without
evaluation, see sections 7.7 and 7.8).
A red measurement point appears in the image.
With the mouse pointer targeting the measurement point, the point can be resized
with the help of the mouse wheel, so as to obtain an adequate measurement section.
With this function, reflectance values can be measured in order to see in advance
whether the contrast between bright and dark areas (or a selected colour for bright or
dark) is adequate. The light type used (white or red) can change measurement
values.
