For advanced calibration, the calibrated GS1 Data Matrix test card (part no.
08300911) and/or the calibrated test card for EAN/UPC code verifiers (part no.
08300912) can also be used (both are available as optional accessories).
In addition, advanced calibration uses test cards that have been included in the scope
of delivery by REA but are otherwise manufactured fully independently of REA and
which have been measured using other reference devices. Calibration with these cards
more closely approximates the national standards (N.I.S.T, PTB, etc.) than with the
REA calibration cards derived from these cards.
