Rinse Sprayboom Plumbing
Rinsing the sprayboom plumbing with clean water is
accomplished via the following steps:
1. Close
all valves.
2. Open
the clean water rinse valve.
3. Open the sprayboom valve, the solution tank main
valve and the solution tank valve.
4. Open
all sprayboom section valves with the solution
spray controller.
5. Power ON the liquid pump of the trailer sprayer.
6. Run for 15-30 seconds to thoroughly rinse. Repeat if
needed.
7. Power OFF the liquid pump of the trailer sprayer.
8. Close
the clean water rinse valve.
9. Close
all sprayboom section valves.
10. Close the sprayboom valve and solution tank
valve.

IMPORTANT
Turn off a hydraulically driven centrifugal pump using the “float” posi-
tion of the tractor’s hydraulic valve. This allows the motor to stop
slowly helping to protect the motor and motor seals.
Only you, the operator can determine the length of time
required to completely rinse all chemical residue from the
sprayer tanks and plumbing systems.
IMPORTANT
The number of times the tank must be rinsed is dependent on
the chemical present in the solution tank. Only you, the opera-
tor can determine the number of rinsing required to thoroughly
clean all chemical residue from the sprayer tanks and
plumbing systems.
