Boom Adjustment
Center Section Springs
Redball
®
assembles the center section springs so the
compression length is the same from the center tab on
both sides. Generally no further adjustment is needed.
If you feel the boom movement is following the move-
ment of the frame too closely, loosen the springs the
same amount on each side. Continue to do this until the
movement of the boom is independent of the frame.
There is no set specification of this spring length and
boom movement.
Boom and Parallel Arm Lubrication
The boom will follow the movement of the frame more if
the boom is not allowed to move independently. Refer to
Section E of this manual for lubrication points on the
boom and parallel arms. Make sure these points are
lubricated to allow free movement of the boom.
