Spraying with Bypass (Optional): The optional
TeeJet
®
Solution Spray Controller utilizes an electric ball
valve to control the amount of solution “bypassing” back
to the tank and thereby the amount to the sprayboom in
the solution spray system. The Bypass Valve, located in
the valve enclosure, needs to be completely open during
spraying to allow this bypassed solution to return to the
tank.
In the event you wish to rinse the sprayboom plumbing
and not the solution tank, close the Bypass Valve during
rinsing to prevent the rinse water from entering the solu-
tion tank. Close the Bypass Valve to stop the solution
tank from draining when you need to service anything
downstream of the Bypass Valve. Do not count on the
electric ball valve to prevent the draining of the solution
tank.

IMPORTANT
Turn off a hydraulically driven centrifugal pump using the “float” posi-
tion of the tractor’s hydraulic valve. This allows the motor to stop
slowly helping to protect the motor and motor seals.
IMPORTANT
Always dispose of chemical or diluted chemical according to
your local, state, and federal regulations.
