Timing belt: Removal - Refitting

First position of the index of the timing belt
tensioning roller
a Loosen the timing belt tensioning roller bolt by up to
one turn while holding the adjustable index with a 6
mm Allen key.
a Gradually align the adjustable index of the timing
belt tensioning roller in the middle of the timing win-
dow by turning the key anticlockwise.
Second position of the adjustable index of the
timing belt tensioning roller
a Loosen the timing belt tensioning roller bolt by up to
one turn while holding the adjustable index with a 6
mm Allen key.
a Gradually position the adjustable index of the timing
belt tensioning roller in the middle of the timing win-
dow by turning the key clockwise.
a Tighten to torque:
- the timing belt tensioning roller bolt (27 N.m),
- the camshaft pulley hub bolts (14 N.m).
