Exhaust fuel injector: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the bolt of the exhaust fuel injector clamp
(3) .
a Remove the exhaust fuel injector (4) on the catalytic
pre-converter.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a
a parts always to be replaced: Exhaust fuel injec-
tor seal (10,08,02,14).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
-a new seal for the exhaust fuel injector,
- the exhaust fuel injector,
- the exhaust fuel injector clamp.
a Torque tighten the bolt of the exhaust fuel injector
clamp (25 N.m).
a Connect the exhaust fuel injector connector.
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Refit the quick-release union of the fuel pipe on the
exhaust fuel injector.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the intercooler air inlet pipe (see 12B, Turbochar-
ging, Intercooler air inlet pipe: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 12B-41) ,
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery),
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery),
- the scoop under the scuttle panel grille (see Scoop
under scuttle panel grille: Removal - Refitting)
(56A, Exterior equipment),
- the scuttle panel grille (see Scuttle panel grille:
Removal - Refitting) (56A, Exterior equipment),
-the windscreen wiper arms (see Windscreen wi-
per arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing),
- the engine undertray,
- the engine cover.

WARNING
Do not remove the blanking plugs from each
component until the last moment.
Also, do not remove the components from their
packaging until they are to be fitted to the vehi-
cle.
