REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery : Removal -
Refitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
-the engine undertray bolts,
-the engine undertray.
a Remove the take-off pipe from the particle filter tem-
perature sensor (1) .
a Remove:
- the take-off pipe of the particle filter pressure sen-
sor (2) ,
- the bolt (3) of the particle filter pressure sensor pi-
pe.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Cut the exhaust pipe (see 19B, Exhaust, Exhaust:
Precautions for repair, page 19B-12) in the desi-
gnated area to be cut (see 19B, Exhaust, Exhaust:
Parts and consumables for the repair work, page
19B-1) .
