Place the desired test sieve (S) on the nozzle chamber (A). NOTICE For test sieves with
200 mm outer diameter, the adapter ring (AR) must be used additionally.
Place the sample material on the test sieve.
Close the test sieve with the sieve lid (R) suitable for the sieve height and outer diameter
( Chapter "Sieve Lids").
NOTICE Only with a suitable combination of test sieve and sieve lid, the required negative
pressure can be built up in the nozzle chamber and thus the sieving process can be started.
5.5.1 Sieve Lids
For the test sieves four different types of the sieve lid are available. These differ in their shape
and their diameter, and must be chosen to match the test sieve used.
