Loading A Roll Of Paper
When the load paper indicator lights, it’s time to install a new roll of pa-
per. You’ll need to open the top and bottom covers of the roll feeder, re-
move any remaining paper, take the old roll out and take it off the spool,
insert the spool in a new roll, and finally load the new roll into the roll
feeder.
CAUTION: Rolls of paper can be heavy, so you should be careful
when loading one. Don’t strain yourself. Ask for help if you think you
need it.
1. Open the top and bottom covers
of the roll feeder.
2. If there is paper left, slide the
blade from side to side and gen-
tly pull the paper out of the cop-
ier.
3. Unlock and lift the top unit of the
roll feeder.
a) Hold the handles on each side.
b) Squeeze and hold the lock on the left.
c) Raise the unit just a bit.
d) Hold on to the unit, but let go of the lock.
e) Raise the unit until it locks in place.
