Using the ADJ. Lever
The assigned functions can be easily recalled by pressing n in the shoot-
ing mode.
1 Press n in the shooting mode.
The mode switches to the ADJ. mode and the
icons for the assigned functions appear.
2 Use cd to select a function.
By default, the following functions can be
selected.
• Image Control (p.87)
• Focus (p.57)
• AE Metering (p.63)
• File Format (p.84)
• Outdoor View Setting (p.129)
3 Use ab to select a setting.
When making detailed settings, press h.
4 Press e.
The selected function is set and the camera is ready to perform shooting.

• The functions for ADJ. mode can be changed in [ADJ Mode Setting] of the D2 menu. (p.121)
• When [Shutter Btn. Confirmation] is set to [On] in the D2 menu, pressing z halfway com-
pletes the setting of ADJ. mode. (p.125)
