Basic Operation for Sending a Fax
This section describes how to send a fax to a destination selected from the Address Book.
If there is a power failure (the main power switch is turned off) or the machine is unplugged for
about one hour, all the documents stored in the memory are deleted. As soon as the main power
switch is turned on, the Power Failure Report is printed to help you check the list of deleted files.
Simply turning off the power by pressing the operation switch does not delete stored documents.

1. Make sure [Immed. TX] is not highlighted.
Normally Memory Transmission mode is selected.
2. Place the original into the Auto Document Feeder (ADF).
3. Make the scan settings you require.
4. Press the Destination key registered with the desired destination.
5. When sending the same original to several destinations (broadcasting), press the
Destination key of the next destination.
6. Press the [Start] key.
