2.4 Control
The HortiJet Pro is controlled by a HortiMaX CX500 process controller. The HortiMaX
CX500 software runs on the IPC that is located inside the main panel of the hardware
cabinet.
The HortiMaX CX500 has a supporting tool called: CX Assistant. The dealer can
configure the HortiMaX CX500 using this.
The HortiMaX CX500 can be operated using Synopta. Using Synopta, it is possible to
control the HortiMaX CX500 remotely, in an advanced and convenient manner.
The HortiMaX CX500 and Synopta are not part of the HortiJet Pro, but are
available separately.
2.4.1 HortiMaX CX500
The HortiMaX CX500 not only optimizes the climate inside the greenhouse, but also
provides control over irrigation, buffer tanks and energy. The HortiMaX CX500 is the
ultimate automation solution, is suitable for every greenhouse and every crop, and
can expand as the grower's business expands.

2.4.2 CX Assistant
The CX Assistant is the configuration, calculation, installation and management tool
for the HortiMaX CX500. The tool has been designed especially for dealers. The tool
provides support for most of the tasks that you need to perform with the HortiMaX
CX500. You can also use it as a marketing tool during the quotation process.
With the CX Assistant, you can:
define a configuration,
check a configuration,
generate a wiring list,
see which I/O modules and other components are required,
request a licence,
install and activate a configuration in the HortiMaX CX500,
download and modify an existing configuration,
analyse the impact on costs of the chosen software configuration.

2.4.3 Synopta
This is the advanced all-in-one program that offers easy navigation and a range of
setting options to operate the HortiMaX CX500 easily.
