6.3.8 Start conditions
Controls / Water / Substrate / Starts.
The start conditions for an irrigation cycle can be set for each valve group (and
period). There are various types of starts:
Manual valve start
Use manual valve start to specify in which periods you can start irrigation
manually.
Manual group start
Use manual group start to start irrigation manually. Using this control you can
also stop, pause or restart irrigation manually.
Time start
Use time start to start irrigation at specific times (daily or weekly). You can
also use time start to set alternative time starts and cyclical starts.
Alternative start: use an alternative start to start irrigation once at a specified
time.
Cyclical start: use a cyclical start to start the irrigation at regular intervals.
Pause start
Use pause start if an irrigation group may not go without irrigation for a
specified period of time, regardless of the conditions.
Radiation sum start
Use radiation sum start to start irrigation when a specified radiation sum is
reached.
Moisture content start
Use moisture content start to start irrigation based on the moisture content of
the soil (or substrate).
Contact start
Use contact start when using an external contact, such as: level sensor or
moisture sensor. Irrigation will start when the contact signals this.
6.3.9 Alarms
Triggered alarm messages can be consulted by navigating to View’ in the top bar and
then selecting Alarm messages’. The Alarm messages window will open.
Under alarm messages, you can use the buttons marked Confirm and Acknowledge.
Confirm
Use the Confirm button to indicate that an alarm has been resolved. The alarm
will disappear from the list.
Acknowledge
Use the Acknowledge button to turn off the alarm. The alarm will remain active.
