Computer
Your CoaguChek XS Plus meter can connect with a computer via an infrared interface using
optional base unit. Using a computer, you can set up operator or patient lists, for example,
or you can transfer test results stored in the meter to a PC for further evaluation. Using this
computer capability requires software. The COMPUTER screen prompt option allows you to
activate or deactivate the meter’s ability to communicate with a computer.
1 From the main menu screen, touch
Setup.
2 From the Setup menu screen, touch
Options.
3 From the Options menu screen, touch
Computer.
You may select from the following options:
n Active
n Inactive
4 Touch the screen prompt with the desired
setting for communication with the PC.
Your selection is now displayed with a
black background.
5 When you have made your selection,
touch (OK) to save, or touch
(Cancel) to cancel this procedure. The
program automatically returns to the
Options menu.
