Patient
In the default setting, input of Patient ID is “optional.” This means a Patient ID can be entered
for each test, but this isn’t required. If you don’t enter a Patient ID , the test is simply assigned
a consecutive number (the same as when the Patient ID is deactivated). However, you can
require that a Patient ID be entered.
To set up a patient list, it must be created on the PC and downloaded into the meter using
software.

1 From the main menu screen, touch
Setup.
2 From the Setup menu screen, touch
ID Setup.
3 Touch Patient.
4 Touch the screen prompt with the setting
of choice. Your selection is now displayed
with a black background.
5 When you have selected the option, touch
(OK) to save, or touch (Cancel) to
cancel this procedure.
The entries for the option No are now
completed. For the options Optional and
Required, continue by selecting the input
format.
You may select from the following options:
n No (tests will be assigned numbers
automatically)
n Optional (automatic numbering or
manual input)
n Required (manual input)
